Complete Health and Wellness Exams
Want to keep your pet healthy for the long run? Regular and thorough health exams are crucial for your pet’s overall well-being. Our complete health exams help keep us up to date on your pet’s health and wellness, while also providing us a baseline to assist in detecting any potential problems or conditions before they advance.
Parasite Prevention and Treatment
Prevention is key when it comes to heartworms and other parasites, as they can cause many health risks for your pet. We offer heartworm and intestinal parasite testing that is quick and easy, allowing us to obtain results during your pet’s examination so we can proceed immediately with the right treatment or preventative plan.
Routine vaccinations protect your pet from a number of viruses and diseases that can affect dogs and cats of all ages, while also helping you avoid costly treatments for illnesses that can be prevented. During your pet’s health exam, our veterinarian will help you determine which vaccines are essential for your pet based on their age, lifestyle and individual risk of exposure to certain diseases.
Digital x-rays help us to see what might be ailing your pet internally in a matter of minutes. We are proud to offer advanced radiology equipment to our furry patients for quick and clear results.
Electrocardiogram is a simple and noninvasive way to evaluate your pet’s cardiac health. This machine will help to safely and accurately determine any underlying heart conditions that may be difficult to diagnose without any discomfort for your pet.
Our in-house lab allows us to efficiently perform a wide range of diagnostic tests and provide you with the results on the day of your visit. Whether it be a simple heartworm test or a complete and in-depth blood profile, we are able to perform these tests quickly and efficiently.
Dental care is essential to your pet’s overall health much like your own! Our office is fully equipped to perform complete teeth cleanings for your dog or cat, as well as necessary extractions. Not only will it keep their breath fresh, but it will also protect them from gum disease that could lead to more serious conditions if left untreated.
Baer Hearing Test
Brainstem auditory evoked response (BAER) testing is an electro-diagnostic test that we use in-house to evaluate your pet’s hearing capabilities. This non-invasive test can help us quickly and effectively diagnose potential hearing loss with the latest technology that uses a small electrode attached to each ear and sends a signal down the ear canal. While this technology is very beneficial to our elderly patients, it can also prove to be useful for breeders to ensure they are not breeding animals who are genetically hearing impaired.
Boarding and Bathing
In addition to our health and wellness services, we offer boarding and bathing. We are fully equipped to board any size dog or cat at any age for any amount of time! If your pet is undergoing treatment, you will also have the benefit of having a doctor on staff to monitor your pet’s well-being, giving you peace of mind while you are away.
Whether you are looking for doggie daycare or an extended stay for your pet, we have a large outdoor area where dogs can get plenty of play-time, exercise, and potty breaks while in our care.
Surgery performed by laser allows for less tissue trauma, less blood loss and less discomfort for your pet after surgery. It may also reduce the risk of infection and lead to quicker recovery time.
